Bells and whistles

Bells and whistles will not be added to the various Folding@Home client easily. Only if the Return on Investment is great enough. Pandegroup focuses their work on the scientific analysis of the gathered data, rather than on programming fancy features to add to the clients. These features will probably even slow the work of the clients down, which is undesired in these days where the speedy return of the WUs is more important than processing more WUs at the same time.

Often the desired bells and whistles are available in Third Party Contributions.

If you still insist of having your needed functionality in the FAH client itself then you'll have to have friends who will help to promote your case. You have to have a solid reasoning why it is much needed feature.
