FAH & 64-bit

Pande Group has compiled a FAH client and various cores at 64 bit. At present time, any possible benefit does not outweight the cost of maintaining another set of binaries, especially when the current 32-bit clients do run on the 64 bit operating systems such as Win XP64 and Vista.

For Linux and Mac OS X the scene has changed with the arrival of SMP capable FAH clients as those are currently available 64-bit form only. November 6, 2006, is the day of 64-bit FAH client/core arrival.
