A fah client can be used with any drive imaging process, such as Norton Ghost. The correct procedure is to capture the drive image after creating a folder on, and downloading the client to that drive, but before running the client which downloads and places a USERID from Stanford in the Windows Registry.

If the drive image was made after the client has downloaded a USERID, the ID will need to be manually removed from each system using that image. The fah client will then download a new and unique ID. Unique IDs prevent the client from duplicating work units.
