FaHWiki:User Contributed Help
From FaHWiki
There is already a guide to show you How to edit a page but we would like to see any other tips and hints people have about editing pages. Anything like Markup hints are fair game too. Feel free to add your comments below, they may be included in the main help section at a later date.
When to edit a page
Whenever you have a problem related to the Folding@Home project that you cannot solve immediately, but eventually solve, you should consider adding information to the Wiki. To do this, Search for the problem you had and for the topics where such a problem might be discussed. If you find either, you have a start.
You might want to edit an existing page discussing your problem to improve the problem description or solution. You might want to put a link into an existing topic to list your problem; if there is no page discussing your problem, click the link you just inserted to get a blank page for inserting your solution.
If you can't find the topic or the problem on the Wiki, your information is even more important. Add a link to the new topic to New topics. Edit the new topic to add a link to your solution. Edit the page for your solution to type in the solution.
